Services*Training*Officers*Prosecutors (STOP) Grant

The Alaska Council on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault, (CDVSA) receives the STOP population-based formula grant from the US Department of Justice, Office of Violence Against Women (OVW). STOP’s purpose is to train courts, law enforcement, and prosecutors and to strengthen services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and dating violence.

Alaska submitted its FFY2022-2025 implementation plan and received approval from OVW. The CDVSA Council and staff thank the partner agencies, community organizations, Alaska Native tribes, and all individuals who provided input, comments, and suggestions during the process of writing a plan that presents a strong approach to moving our state forward in our vision of Alaska free from domestic violence and sexual assault.
