Judicial Services
Troopers ensure the safe transport of prisoners and provide security for Alaska’s courts and judicial system.

Troopers receive ongoing, rigorous training to maintain readiness, enhance skills, and meet the evolving demands of public safety.
Aircraft Section
DPS has Alaska’s largest aircraft fleet and provides critical aviation support for enforcement, search and rescue, and rapid response across Alaska’s remote and challenging terrain.

Dispatchers serve as the critical link between the public and responders, coordinating timely and effective emergency response.
