Southern Fire Training Office
The SoThe Southern Fire Training Office is located immediately adjacent to the William
Hagevig Regional Fire Training Center, in Juneau, Alaska. This office provides
training and response preparedness services to firefighters and emergency
responders throughout the state.
The primary focus of the office is all areas of Alaska south of Girdwood and west
to the end of the Aleutian Chain, including the Southeast Panhandle.
The Hagevig Training Center was initially constructed for marine training;
however, this facility and the Fire Training office have grown to provide a wide
variety of programs to emergency responders and the public. Following is a list
