Rodney Circle in Wasilla. Investigation revealed Steven Thompson, age 62 of Talkeetna, refused to leave the property at the home owners request. Thompson was subsequently arrested for the original charge of Criminal Trespass in the First Degree and transported to the MSPT facility in Palmer where he was remanded into custody and held without bail. Investigation revealed that Joshua Darnell, age 27 of Willow who had been house sitting at the residence had stolen items from the residence in his possession. Investigation revealed a 1989 Ford Escort driven by Jameson Weeks, age 18 of Kodiak, was following a 1989 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Dylan Froehlich, age 18 of Kodiak, driving outbound on Chiniak Highway. Froehlich slowed down and attempted to turn off when his friend Weeks collided with Froehlich. Subsequent investigation revealed Weeks was impaired. Weeks was arrested and remanded to Kodiak Police Department Jail for DUI, Minor Operating after Consuming Alcohol, and Minor Consuming Alcohol where bail was set at $500. Both vehicles were totaled in the collision. Froehlich and Weeks both reported wearing their seatbelt. Froehlich was transported to Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center ER for treatment of possible injuries sustained in the collision. Further investigation is ongoing. Investigation revealed the driver of the vehicle, Louis G. Hoffman, age 19 of Anchorage, possessed a user's amount of Marijuana. Hoffman was arrested for MICS 6th Degree and released with a criminal summons and a promise to appear in court. Investigation revealed the driver, Daniel L. Fleckenstein, age 25 of Wasilla, was driving while his Alaska Driver's License was suspended. Fleckenstein was arrested for DWLS and released with a criminal summons and a promise to appear in court. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Donald Kevin Redick, age 34 of Wasilla. Investigation revealed Redick failed to stop for emergency lights, was operating his ATV recklessly and was endangering the welfare of a male passenger, 10 years of age. Redick was later subsequently arrested for DUI, Failure to Stop at the Direction of a Peace Officer II and Endangering the Welfare of Child II. Redick was transported to and remanded in MSPT with his bail set at $5,000 and not to be released until sober.
