Investigation revealed on the morning of 4/21/2012, unknown person(s) stole a white, 2010 Chevrolet Colorado truck which was subsequently abandoned near Jim Creek. The vehicle was located by the Alaska State Troopers and returned to the owner. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Shanon Haynes, age 24, of Wasilla. Investigation revealed Haynes was operating the vehicle with a suspended driver's license. Troopers contacted Matthew Snyder, age 24 of Anchorage, and his girlfriend. During the investigation it was determined that no sexual assault had occurred. However, the girlfriend reported being physically assaulted by Snyder. Snyder was arrested for one count each of Assault 3 (DV) and Assault 4 (DV). Snyder was transported to the Anchorage jail and held on bail. The girlfriend was transported to the hospital for further treatment of injuries. Eberhardt, age 28, of Juneau, was intercepted at a post office. Investigation revealed that the package contained multiple tablets of concealed Roxicodone inside. On 04/20/12, the Alaska Bureau of Investigation's Southeast Alaska Cities against Drugs (SEACAD) task force and the United States Postal Inspector's (USPI) Office obtained a search warrant for Eberhardt's residence. During the course of searching Eberhardt's residence a marijuana grow consisting of sixty-one marijuana plants were located inside. Eberhardt was arrested for one count of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance II and three counts of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance IV. Eberhardt was remanded to Lemon Creek Correctional Facility to await arraignment the following day. At about 0152 hours, Troopers arrived on scene and they found a 25 year old female with an apparent gun shot wound and a 26 year old male with an apparent gun shot wound. The female was pronounced deceased on scene by EMS and the male was transported to Mat-Su Regional Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Based upon the investigation thus far it appears to be a murder/suicide. The male has been identified as Tobias Siegel of Wasilla. The female's identity is not being released at this time due to next of kin notification. Alcohol appears to have been a factor in this case. The male and female were not married and it appears they are recent acquaintances. An investigation is ongoing at this time. The Driver sped up to about 90 MPH for approximately 1.5 miles before pulling over and coming to a stop. The driver was identified as Steven Cole age 54 of Big Lake. Cole was issued a citation for the moving violation and a misdemeanor citation for Fail to Stop at the Direction of a Police Officer 2nd Degree. S. Cole was released on scene. Troopers identified the driver as Glenn A. Borkoski, age 37, of Wasilla. An investigation revealed Borkoski was operating the vehicle while impaired by alcohol and was placed under arrest for DUI. Borkoski later refused to provide a sample of his breath to the datamaster and was subsequently charged with refusal. Borkoski was then remanded into the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where he was held on $1000 bail. The intersection is near milepost 25 of the Kenai Spur Highway. Three vehicles were involved in the crash a purple, 1998 Kia Sephia a silver, 1999 Honda Accord and a green, 1990 Motor Coach Industries bus owned by MagTec Alaska. The driver and only occupant of the Kia was identified as Joyce Riley, age 59 of Nikiski. The driver of the Honda was identified as John King, age 23 of Nikiski. There was also a juvenile male front seat passenger in the Honda. The driver and only occupant of the bus was identified as Aaron Miller, age 38 of Kenai. AST Patrol troopers and BHP-Kenai Peninsula Team members arrived on scene as well as Nikiski Fire Department personnel. King and his passenger reported no injuries. Miller was transported to Central Peninsula Hospital for evaluation but had no obvious injuries. Riley was pronounced deceased on scene by Nikiski medics. Investigation revealed the Honda Accord was northbound on the Kenai Spur Highway and slowed to turn left onto Lois Drive. The Kia was also northbound behind the Honda and did not stop for the Honda. Just before impact the Kia turned sharply causing the vehicle to skid and the Kia struck the rear of the Honda. The Kia's momentum took it into the southbound lane into the path of the MCI bus which impacted the Kia. A section of the Kenai Spur Highway was closed and traffic was re-routed through Island Lake Road and Miller Loop. BHP is conducting Total Station mapping of the scene. The State Medical Examiner's office was contacted and requested the body be sent to their office for an autopsy. Next of kin have been notified. The BHP investigation will continue. Turner was arrested and transported to Mat-Su Pretrial where she was lodged on $500.00 bail. In addition, AST K-9 "Chevron" positively indicated for controlled substances on Turner's vehicle. Officers contacted the driver of the vehicle and identified him as AUSTIN FRIZZELLE, age 17 of Wasilla. After an investigation, FRIZZELLE was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs. FRIZZELLE was issued a misdemeanor citation for DUI and released to his parents. Investigation revealed the driver, Trever L. Watson, age 20 of Palmer, was operating the dirt bike along a vehicular way while his driver's license was Revoked.
