Andrew, age 26 of Wasilla, as the driver of a tan 1988 Subaru during a traffic stop after receiving a REDDI report from one of the passengers inside the vehicle. Investigation revealed Andrew was driving while impaired and under the influence of alcohol. Andrew was arrested and transported to Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where he was held on $500 unsecured bail. Devon Olanna, age 22 of Brevig Mission, was arrested for probation violation and transported to Nome where he was lodged at Anvil Mountain Correctional Center on no bail. Investigation revealed that a 34 year old Alaska Native female was severely beaten and suffered extensive bruising and possible internal injuries. The victim was medevaced to Bethel and then on to Anchorage for the treatment of her injuries. She is currently listed in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing as limited information has been obtained due to the high level of intoxication at the time of the incident. AST responded. Investigation revealed that Jeremiah Chuckwuk, age 23 of Aleknagik, was intoxicated and fired a shotgun multiple times in the residential area of North Shore Aleknagik, placing at least two people in fear they would be injured. AST was unable to contact Chuckwuk that night, but arrested him at his residence on 4/15/12 at approximately 1400 hours. Chuckwuk was charged with two counts of Assault IV and Misconduct Involving Weapons IV and booked at Dillingham Jail with $5,000 bail. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Robert B. Lindsey II, age 24 of Kodiak. Investigation revealed Lindsey was driving a 1993 Honda Civic, north on Rezanof Drive. Lindsey failed to negotiate a bend in the road do to slippery conditions on the road service. Lindsey's vehicle slid off the roadway and overturned in the ditch. Lindsey was wearing his seat belt and received no injuries. The vehicle was estimated to be a total loss. Mary Ann (Attatayuk) Frank, 58 of Minto, was not breathing and pronounced shortly after. A male victim was flown to Seattle; in critical condition with over 50% burns over his body. Investigation revealed that the driver, Adrian J. Goldfuss age 14 of Anchorage, was driving in violation of his instructional permit. Text: On 04-14-12, at 0006 hours, Alaska State Troopers with the Bureau of Highway Patrol, South Central Team attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a gray Subaru WRX that Patrol Troopers were also trying to stop after observing it traveling at a high rate of speed on Crusey St. in the middle turn lane with no head lights on. The Subaru failed to yield to Troopers and proceeded to run the red light at the intersection of Crusey St. and Bogard Rd. The driver of the Subaru, later identified as Timothy S. Harris, age 20, of Wasilla continued to elude Troopers down Bogard Rd. where it traveled at a high rate of speed and for a short distance in the wrong lane of travel. Harris ran a solid red light at the intersection of Bogard Rd. and Wasilla-fishhook Rd. where he continued his attempt to elude Troopers north bound on Wasilla-Fishhook. Harris then traveled north bound on Wasilla-Fishhook Rd. at a high rate of speed and lost control at the intersection with Peck Dr. where he spun multiple times. Harris regained control of the Subaru and continued again at a high rate of speed north bound on Wasilla-fishhook Rd. Harris at times drove into the wrong lane of travel and intentionally caused multiple dust clouds to obscure pursuing Troopers view. Harris finally yielded to Troopers on Wasilla-Fishhook Rd. near Seldon Rd. after seeing multiple Troopers in the area. Harris was taken into custody without further incident. Harris was transported and remanded into the Mat-Su Pretrial Facility where he was held on $6000 bail plus a court approved third party. The Subaru was impounded at the scene.
